Vita
Vincent Nguyen wurde 1974 in Vietnam geboren. Er hat an der Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT in Weimar die beiden Studienabschlüsse Klassisches Klavier und Jazzpiano sowie Komposition und Arrangement erfolgreich absolviert.
Seit 2005 ist er Pianist bei der Big Band der Bundeswehr (Big Band of the German Armed Forces), eines der hochkarätigen Ensembles Europas. Auf ihren weltweiten Tourneen arbeiten sie mit renommierten Größen der Jazz- und Musikbranche zusammen, beispielsweise mit Eric Marienthal, Jigg Wigham, Till Brönner und John Miles.
Bereits seit 2003 produziert Vincent Nguyen Filmmusik für das deutsche Fernsehen, Dokumentationen und Werbefilme, beispielsweise für die Mc Donalds Asia Week Kampagne oder den FC Bayern München Fanclub.
Darüber hinaus komponierte er die Filmmusik für mehrere vietnamesische Kinofilme, wie zum Beispiel Ghost Father oder die aktuellste, international viel beachtete Produktion Listeners - The Whispering. Der Film wurde sowohl beim Asia Film Art International Filmfestival als auch beim International New York Film Festival sowie dem Gold Movie Awards in London prämiert. Ebenso wurde er 2021 als Thriller des Monats beim Vegas Movie Award ausgezeichnet.
