L'unique espoir de mon père résidait dans la découverte de ce nouveau monde. Cela faisait longtemps qu'il ne croyait plus en l'avenir du notre.
Contrairement à ma mère, qui ne voyait aucune échappatoire parmi les nuages. Le jour où elle tomba malade, mon père vint me chercher, il m'expliquait qu'il était temps de partir à la découverte du ciel.

Nous sommes arrivés à destination l'année de mes 28 ans. Seulement, nous sommes tombés sur quelque chose d'inattendu : il n'y avait aucune planète semblable à la terre. Aucun autre endroit qui ne permettrait la vie, mais un miroir.
Depuis tout ce temps, nous n'observions que notre simple reflet. Tant de curiosité consacrée à ce qu'on avait déjà.
Je me souviens du vertige du haut de la falaise, des gens qui tombaient amoureux sans se le dire, je me souviens du froid qui fait vibrer les joues, de flotter dans le doux regard de ma mère quand j'ai dit mes premiers mots et de tout ceux que j'aimerais leur dire encore.
Je me souviens du vent indomptable, des promesses faites au ciel, des derniers souvenirs de mon enfance. De l'élégance d'un monde que l'on ne regardait plus.
Il est temps de ne plus en perdre, regardons le miroir, ne fuyons pas l'histoire.
